We are looking for Launch and Change Coordination to join our team in Shenyang. As a Launch and Change Coordination you will work with experienced engineers in automotive industry and will develop yourselves deep into this area.
Your responsibilities
- Changes for current X1, X2, X3, X5, 1/3/5 series ICE and BEV must be managed.
- Changes that in focus are running changes driven by cost and quality targets or process improvements and new content to be launched on one of the above-mentioned models. It is expected that series changes are released which must be steered for a successful implementation with all process partners.
- The major process partners in this case are: ▪ Assembly ▪ Body ▪ Material control ▪ Logistics ▪ Suppliers ▪ Purchasing ▪ Supplier quality specialists ▪ Design and engineering, including analysis centre
- Also change include the launch changes driven by project and project supplement, also from assessment and confirmation matrix to be launched on one of above-mentioned models. It is expected that launch changes are released and steered for successful implement with related process partner as list above.
- To determine the impact of the change and its earliest possible implementation date, appropriate systems and tools must be used (LCC-Workspace, LTERM NG, iRAM, TAIS, SAP, MS Office Software, CAD-Tools, etc.).
- Forums to steer the introduction of these changes where participation is expected are, e.g., plant project teams, release steering round, the weekly EMCC meeting, etc.
- To monitor the changes, monthly target reviews must be prepared with documented service level agreements for department meetings, and quality days to ensure that all activities are completed on-time and within the target framework.
What you bring along
- Chinese native speaker and very good in spoken and written English.
- German would have additional benefit.
- Knowledge of quality method, especially the ability of problem solving.
- Experience of BMW launch and change tools preferred, such as Lterm, M-gAMS, FLS, AU Global, iRAM etc..
- Basic knowledge in mechanical engineering to read mechanical drawings, CAD files and understand mechanical dimension, connection, and installation.
- Basic project management skills.
- Experience in automotive field and Bill-of-Material (BOM) change management field preferred.
