in-tech puts innovative charging point infrastructure into operation at Business Campus Munich : Garching
Sustainable and modern mobility solutions for companies, property operators or municipalities - that is the promise with which in-tech is now putting a charging solution into operation at the Business Campus Munich : Garching. Ten charging columns have been installed in a multi-storey car park. Local companies and visitors can charge their e-cars there with green electricity. An expansion to up to 100 charging points is already being prepared.
"We want to offer new solutions for the city of the future in the areas of multimodal mobility, car sharing, fleet management and electric mobility. With our viertelMobilitäts strategy, we enable smaller municipalities, neighbourhoods and companies to use individual mobility solutions - this can be the operation of charging solutions for electric vehicles, sharing offers or individual fleet solutions with cars, scooters or e-bikes," says Christian Wagner, Managing Director at in-tech.
Business Campus focuses on sustainability
With this promise, in-tech also convinced the operators of the Business Campus München : Garching. Since the start of construction in 2005, the Business Campus has been continuously on the road to success. Several thousand employees already work in a lively community of well-known companies in an attractive, park-like environment. To further promote e-mobility at the Business Campus, the operators were looking for a comprehensive charging solution for the site.
"It quickly became clear to us that the issue of charging infrastructure is not solved with the installation of charging points alone. Aspects such as operation, maintenance, load management and billing illustrate the complexity of the project. Most providers only supply individual building blocks for this. in-tech offered us a convincing overall solution," explains Michael Blaschek, Managing Director of the Business Campus Munich : Garching.
Comprehensive charging solution for tenants and visitors
Therefore, in a large-scale project in 2019, one of the car parks on the campus was equipped with e-charging columns. in-tech took over the installation and operation of the charging infrastructure. Companies at the Business Campus can conclude framework agreements with in-tech to charge their pool vehicles, for example, or to enable employees to charge for free or at reduced rates - a wide variety of billing models are possible.
The solution not only works at the Business Campus, but also on the road: thanks to a connected partner network, customers can also charge at charging stations of other providers while on the road - in any case, billing is very simple via an app. All visitors to the Business Campus can also recharge at the new charging stations. Payment can be made either via the app or simply by credit card without registering.
