in-tech further expands Connected Services portfolio with acquisition - Management remains on board
Technology solutions provider in-tech is strengthening its Connected Services portfolio with the acquisition of data communications expert Ruetz System Solutions. The company, which specializes in in-vehicle digitization, thus intends to further strengthen its growth trajectory. in-tech acquired 100% of the shares in Ruetz System Solutions GmbH as part of the transaction. The closing of the purchase agreement is subject to the approval of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and is scheduled for the current second quarter.
Connected services as a driver of digitization
Ruetz System Solutions specializes in in-vehicle data communications and is regarded as a competent technology partner for in-car networking. "Connected services and complex data communication are fundamental building blocks for the vehicle architecture of the future. Ruetz System Solutions complements our broad range of services in the automotive sector with important expertise in the area of digitalization in the vehicle," explains Christian Wagner, CEO of in-tech.
Founders and managing directors remain on board
Georg Janker and Wolfgang Malek, the founders and managing directors of Ruetz Systems Solutions, will remain on board. Starting signal for ambitious growth plans
"The acquisition is also a clear sign of our growth ambitions," says Christian Wagner: "For us, this transaction is a positive kick-off for our recent partnership with DBAG Fund VIII." in-tech gained a new investor at the beginning of the year with DBAG Fund VIII, which is advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG. In the coming years, the company intends to grow increasingly in the areas of in-vehicle software, electromobility and autonomous driving, and to quadruple its sales over the next five years.
