The engineering company in-tech continues to expand and has opened a new industrial development site in Vienna. As Managing Director, Manfred Heidegger will work for the new subsidiary in-tech engineering GmbH in Austria from the end of August. With a starting team of eleven nine experienced engineers, he will be responsible for solution development for the mechanical engineering, transport systems and automotive sectors in Austria.

Thanks to my many years of experience in project management for software and system solutions in the transport and mechanical engineering sectors, I will be able to realise my visions in the area of intelligent hardware and software for industrial control systems in my new position. I see exciting challenges for us, especially in the area of Industry 4.0, which we will successfully implement together as an experienced team," says the future managing director.
in-tech engineering will offer services for the entire product development process as a solution provider in Austria: From system specification and software programming to testing and validation. The focus of services for product development in the area of mechanical engineering is on the digitalisation and networking of industrial systems, efficient human-machine interfaces and intelligent energy systems for sustainable production. In addition, the engineers develop software and hardware for intelligent controls in networked vehicles, mobile intuitive operating solutions, safety-critical systems and secure Industry 4.0 applications for the areas of traffic systems and automotive, as well as offering systems engineering for complex systems.
The in-tech Austria engineering development site is located at Zieglergasse 3, 100070 Vienna. Manfred Heidegger and his team will take on their first start-up projects in the field of energy technology in August.
Career Manfred Heidegger
As an electrical engineer, Manfred Heidegger first worked for Bosch for ten years as a software developer and project manager for passenger car diesel engine control systems. This was followed by a one-year excursion into the world of traffic telematics solutions at Kapsch TrafficCom. From 2009, he worked as a project and team leader at Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GesmbH, an engineering service provider for industrial software and system solutions in Austria. With his team of experienced engineers, he worked on the development of various subsystems and components for customers in the railway industry, mainly for rail vehicle manufacturers.
