InnoTrans 2016: in-tech presents solutions for secure digitalisation in rail vehicles

Engineering company is presenting itself at the international trade fair for transport technology in Berlin in Hall 1.2, Stand 302 at the joint stand of the Railway Technology Cluster, the cluster platform for innovative railway technology in Bavaria.

How can functional security in the "connected train" be ensured using cryptology methods? This question will be answered by in-tech industry at the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin from 20 to 23 September 2016. The company will be presenting services for the development of innovative vehicle functions for digitalisation in rail vehicles in Hall 1.2 at Stand 302. Other focal points are the model-based development of standardised vehicle functions and approval support with professional safety management and safety engineering.

In addition to their distinctive expertise in the development of rail vehicle functions, the railway specialists of the development company in-tech also rely on their extensive cross-industry experience in the systematic development of solutions for the digitalisation of industrial products.

The digitalisation of the railway is one of the top priorities for future-proof, safe, efficient and attractive rail transport. Increasing automation and connectivity contributes significantly to increasing performance and reliability, thus improving customer satisfaction and competitiveness in the rail sector.

Innovative functions such as self-driving trains, intelligent maintenance technology, improved travel information or assistance systems for passengers require ever greater networking both of various subsystems in the train and between the train and the landside. Secure and reliable communication is thus becoming increasingly important in ensuring functional safety on the train.
