We are looking for a QA Lead (Product Testing) to own and drive quality assurance for product-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, proven experience leading QA teams, and a solid background in Android application testing. This role involves both hands-on testing and strategic leadership to ensure high-quality, reliable product releases. Roles
Act as the primary QA owner for product-based applications.
Lead and manage the QA team’s day-to-day activities and workload.
Act as main QA contact for Product, Engineering, and client-facing discussions.
Define and drive QA strategy for assigned products.
Plan and prioritize testing based on release timelines.
Enforce QA standards, processes, and best practices.
Represent QA in agile ceremonies and release meetings.
Align QA goals with overall product and business objectives.
Track QA metrics and communicate risks and status to stakeholders/clients.
Foster a strong quality-first culture across teams.
Responsibilities
Create test strategies, plans, and scenarios for product releases.
Perform manual product testing and Android testing (mandatory).
Design and optimize test cases for thorough coverage.
Execute tests, log defects, and drive them to closure.
Analyze root causes and work with developers on fixes.
Continuously refine QA processes and tools.
Mentor and support QA team members.
Collaborate with product managers and client stakeholders on requirements and acceptance criteria.
Ensure all releases meet defined quality and timeline expectations.
Use Python (mandatory) for scripts/basic automation and clearly communicate QA status and metrics to internal and client stakeholders.
