We are looking for an experienced Senior Training & Development Lead to join our team in based out of our Kochi location with hybrid work options. If you’re passionate about joining a growing and dynamic team with a company with a positive culture and team spirit, we’d love to connect with you!
Responsibilities
Design and support implementing training programs in close collaboration with our German inhouse training team and Infosys training programs.
Specifically tailor the content to engage and upskill freshers and junior resources in the automotive engineering services domain.
Collaborate and with our inhouse project managers and technical leads to identify skill gaps and training needs.
Conduct onboarding sessions to familiarize freshers with company organizational processes, tools, and technologies together with company values.
Develop technical and soft skills training modules to enhance the capabilities of team members.
Provide positive mentorship and guidance to freshers, ensuring a smooth transition into project roles.
Monitor the progress of trainees and provide constructive feedback to support their professional growth.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate relevant knowledge into training programs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of training objectives with project requirements.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training and its impact on employee skills.
Support any engineering team members with additional training programs that are required while they transition between projects ending and starting.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience of at least 4+ years as a qualified training or mentoring role within either the automotive sector or a similar digital software delivery sector.
Strong understanding of automotive engineering principles, tools, and technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design and deliver engaging training content for freshers and junior resources with a positive approach.
Proficiency in using learning management systems and tools.
Knowledge of SuccessFactors and SAP would be beneficial, but not essential.
Strong organizational and mentoring skills.
Must be able to be onsite in our Kochi office in Infopark Phase II as required weekly and at time travel to other in-tech locations as needed to delivery onsite training support.
This will include especially Bangalore, Mysore and Trivandrum.
Travel costs will be covered outside of Kochi.
