10. October 2019 Press Release

in-tech and Virta agree on strategic cooperation

New solutions for charging infrastructure at the Business Campus Munich Garching

In a joint project in the greater Munich area, the two internationally active companies Virta and in-tech are offering their solution together for the first time. The Finnish charging service provider Virta contributes its proven charging platform, in-tech is a charging infrastructure operator and eMobility provider.

The New Mobility Solutions business unit of in-tech aims to create individual and needs-based mobility solutions for unique situations according to local requirements and wishes. Core elements of in-tech's solutions are shared mobility (vehicle sharing, ride sharing, etc.) using sustainable energies in combination with eMobility and charging infrastructure.

The complex requirements for charging are ideally covered by the Virta platform in a future-proof manner. The starting point for a long-term strategic cooperation is the realisation and operation of a charging infrastructure at the Business Campus Munich Garching. Over the next few years, around 100 publicly accessible charging points will be built there. Virta is the partner for the charging platform and charging services, on the basis of which in-tech is planning further mobility services (e-vehicle sharing, etc.) at the location.

Further projects in the DACH region are planned for the coming years, focusing on the individual implementation of eMobility concepts.
