Focus on innovative projects for sustainable mobility and rail transport technology
New location opening in Berlin: On 1 September, in-tech moved into new premises at the EUREF Campus in the Schöneberg district. in-tech mainly employs specialists for digitalisation in the rail transport industry there. In addition, the company also wants to work on other mobility solutions there.
Priority focus: digitalisation solutions for rail vehicles
At the new location in Berlin, in-tech will work on projects for the rail transport industry, both for manufacturers of rail vehicles or transport companies: "Thanks to our many years of experience in rail vehicle technology, in systems engineering combined with distinctive software know-how, we offer flexible digitisation solutions for everything to do with rail vehicles as well as for the retrofitting of control units, train control systems (TCMS) and the European train control system ETCS," says André Brückmann, Head of Business Unit Engineering Solutions.
Smart mobility projects planned for the future
Furthermore, in-tech is considered a specialist for solutions for sustainable mobility, such as electromobility, intelligent charging, vehicle sharing or last-mile offers. Therefore, the company also wants to work on "smart mobility" applications in the future, which will be developed closely with the companies located there.
Future campus for the technologies of tomorrow
More than 3,500 people are already working, researching and learning at the EUREF Campus in Berlin-Schöneberg. The campus is considered a place of the future and a symbol of the energy transition and is already home to 150 companies that focus on the topics of energy, mobility and sustainability. It is also considered a reference site for the Smart City strategy of the state of Berlin. With a climate-neutral energy supply, a smart energy grid, the energy-efficient buildings, the testing platform for electromobility and the numerous research projects, the campus aims to prove that the energy transition is feasible and affordable.
