New location with focus on innovative projects for sustainable mobility and rail transport technology

New location in Berlin: On September 1, in-tech moved into new premises at EUREF Campus in the Schöneberg district of Berlin. The new location mainly accommodates specialists for digitization in the rail industry. Additionally, in-tech plans to make the Belin office a center for other mobility solutions at well.

Primary focus: Digitization solutions for all aspects of rail vehicles

The team in Berlin currently works on projects for the rail industry, both for manufacturers of rail vehicles and transport companies: "Thanks to our many years of experience in rail vehicle technology, in systems engineering combined with distinctive software know-how, we offer flexible digitization solutions for all aspects of rail vehicles as well as for the retrofitting of control units, train control systems (TCMS) and the European train control system ETCS," says André Brückmann, Head of Business Unit Engineering Solutions.

Smart Mobility projects planned as well

in-tech is also considered a specialist for solutions for sustainable mobility, such as electric mobility, intelligent charging, vehicle sharing or last-mile offers. Consequently, the company plans to work on "Smart Mobility" applications in the Berlin office as well. They will be developed in close cooperation with the companies based at EUREF campus.

Future campus for the technologies of tomorrow

More than 3,500 people already work, research and learn at the EUREF Campus in Berlin-Schöneberg. The campus is regarded as a place of the future and a symbol of the energy revolution, and is already home to 150 companies that focus on the topics of energy, mobility and sustainability. It is also a reference site for the Smart City Strategy of the State of Berlin. With a climate-neutral energy supply, an intelligent energy network, energy-efficient buildings, the testing platform for electromobility and numerous research projects, the campus aims to prove that the energy revolution is feasible and financially viable.
