For the fourth time, the engineering company is one of the winners of the "Germany's Best Employers" competition.
Coffee, fruit and sweets at the workplace, a warm team culture, a wide range of sports and leisure activities, in-house training programs and excellent opportunities for promotion: engineers, IT specialists and technicians find excellent working conditions at the Garching-based engineering specialist in-tech - in the truest sense of the word.
For the fourth time, in-tech is one of the winners of the Great Place to Work competition "Germany's Best Employer 2016". The company's workplace culture already won awards in 2011, 2012 and 2014. The medium-sized company's recipe for success: top marks for team spirit, working atmosphere and work-life balance.
The nationwide "Great Place to Work" competition uses an employee survey to assess the workplace culture of participating companies - so employees have their say and rate their employers. The 100 best participants are awarded the "Germany's Best Employers" seal. In March 2016, in-tech was honored with the coveted trophy for the fourth time.
This success is due not only to the open and cordial interaction from the employee to the managing director, but also, among other things, to the monthly event budget of the teams, which is used to finance joint activities such as a Christmas market, go-karting or a cocktail bar. A special program for new colleagues, which makes it easier for them to start their careers, makes in-tech particularly attractive to university graduates.
Another important reason for employee satisfaction at the company is the architecture of the various company locations. "We have placed a lot of emphasis on an appealing design of the rooms," explains Bastian Friedrich, Managing Director of in-tech GmbH. "We want our team to feel comfortable here". This includes, for example, sun terraces with a view of the greenery or dedicated fitness areas where regular sports courses are held.
in-tech shapes digitalization in the automotive industry, rail transport and industry. The company develops solutions for the automotive, eMobility, transport systems and smart industry sectors. The developers and engineers at in-tech work, for example, on topics such as autonomous driving, electromobility, digital rail or smart industrial production.
The company was founded in 2002 and has been consistently growing ever since. in-tech currently employs around 2300 people at locations in Germany, Austria, the USA, China, the UK, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Spain and Romania. The owner-managed company shines as an excellent employer with an outstanding corporate culture: the company has already received several awards for its good working atmosphere, internal team spirit and excellent work-life balance.
