The focus of the expansion is on Automotive Electronics & working on making the car of the future autonomous, electric, and connected. As a strategic development partner, we support our customers throughout the entire product development process: from development to system integration to after-sales. In addition, we offer innovative tooling solutions ranging from HIL systems to cloud-based test infrastructures.
We are looking for Automotive Test Engineers specialized in the testing domains like-Brakes/Suspension/Steering/connectivity etc to join our team in Bangalore, with Hybrid working model. As a member of our in-tech team, you will work with experienced engineers from different countries and the latest technology every day.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement test plans for various domain like brakes, suspension/steering systems/Connectivity etc.
Conduct both laboratory and field testing to validate performance, durability, and safety.
Utilize advanced testing equipment and software to collect and analyse data.
Analyse test data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders if required.
Work closely with design engineers, product development teams, and suppliers to address issues and improve designs.
Participate in design reviews, providing expert input on testability and performance.
Communicate test results and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive testing, specifically focusing on brakes, suspension/steering systems or connectivity domain.
Proven track record of conducting successful tests and delivering actionable insights.
Proficiency in testing methodologies and equipment for brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet).
Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar will be added advantage.
Familiarity with CAD software and vehicle dynamics simulation tools will be beneficial but not mandate.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
